Larry Marshall
Of Counsel
Born and raised in Missouri, Larry Marshall is an attorney and a graduate of the University of Missouri, having received a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor from ol’ Mizzou.
After working in as a lawyer for over a decade, Larry was elected to the Missouri State Senate and served as a State Senator during the 1970s, during which time he sponsored and successfully passed Missouri’s Equal Rights Amendment. In the 1980s, as an assistant attorney general, Larry represented the State of Missouri in the famous desegregation cases in both St. Louis and Kansas City, successfully negotiating an end to the litigation in both cases.
His legal career spans over 60 years across many fields of law, from small town issues for individual clients to corporate representation and on to representing the government on all manner of legal issues.
Larry is “Of Counsel” to the firm and works in a consulting and support role in the office. He no longer handles individual cases or provides any direct legal representation. Larry’s 60 years of legal experience bring a depth to the firm that is difficult to measure. He has handled all manner of cases over his career.
Larry is the father of Scott Marshall, the firm’s founder, and is the proud grandfather of six grandchildren. He currently lives in the Tampa Bay area. Larry is an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, having attended Cardinals’ games when they were the only Major League Baseball team West of the Mississippi River. During college football and basketball season, Larry bleeds black and gold. Go Tigers!
